Here’s how it works.

Share your link. Your friend signs up.
Your friend opens your personal link and submits their email address on that page. Ask them to use the same email they’ll use on Kickstarter. Their signup appears in your results.

Back your torch at VIP pricing.
You still need to place your own Kickstarter pledge at your VIP price. Referral credit does not reduce that pledge. Your friend must also back a qualifying torch using the email they submitted through your link.

You get $50 credit.
After we confirm their payment and check the referral, we add $50 to your PledgeBox account. The credit date is still to be confirmed.

Use your credit to finish your order.
Once your approved credit is added and PledgeBox checkout is open, use it toward accessories, additional torches, shipping, and taxes. This is a separate checkout after Kickstarter. We’ll announce the checkout date.

A link click without an email signup does not register a referral for credit. Your friend must open your personal link and submit their email address on that page.
You earn $50 after their qualifying torch purchase is paid and checked. A signup or VIP deposit alone does not earn credit.

Where can I use the credit?
Your credit is added to PledgeBox, the website we use after Kickstarter to finish your order. It can go toward extra torches, accessories, shipping, taxes, or other amounts due there. It is shopping credit, not cash, and does not reduce your Kickstarter pledge.
Does every email here earn $50?
Not yet. An email on this page means a signup was recorded. That friend must make a qualifying paid torch purchase. Each friend can earn one referral reward. Self-referrals and canceled, refunded, or unpaid purchases do not qualify. A VIP reservation by itself does not qualify.
Why do visits and signups look different?
Someone can open your link more than once, or open it without signing up. We count different signup emails once. Visit tracking began on September 11 at 12:31 p.m. Mountain time. Browser privacy settings can prevent some visits from being counted. Your own visits may count too.
What does “Needs review” mean?
We recorded the signup through your link, but there is also a later referral record. We need to check who qualifies before we approve a reward. It does not mean credit has been earned or denied.
What if a friend is missing?
Ask your friend to check that they opened your personal link and finished the email signup. Refresh this page. If they used a different email or the signup is still missing, contact our crew so we can check the record.
